CLASSY CUTS COVID-19 Workplace, Health and Safety Act

Classy Cuts is committed to protecting all our employees and clients against the possibility of contracting this illness due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus. We have a duty of care to protect our employees and clients wherever possible and we will take all precautions necessary to ensure the safety of our staff.

We understand that the coronavirus is highly contagious and that we need to have strict measures in place to ensure any risk of infection in the workplace is minimised.

All our staff understand the requirements to keep everyone safe and are not intended to cause any hardship to anyone. We have a duty of care and we intend to ensure that is provided to everyone.

Workplace guidelines

• Until further notice ALL clients and staff are to wear face coverings (mask) throughout the duration of being on salon premises. 

• ONLY booked client are to turn up for appointment alone, unfortunately we are limited with the amount of occupants on premise due to salon size. Partners, family, friends and children’s are advised to not join your booking, Unless you are required a carer for health reasons, if this is the case please advise us upon time of booking so we can find a suitable time.

• We will NOT be take walk in clients, For all bookings or product pickup please give salon a call prior to arrival. 

• Currently there is a restricted 25km travel limit, please be mindful of distance before coming to avoid fines. 

• If you’ve been in contact or have had the virus prior or after your appointment with us PLEASE inform us ASAP.

• Washing  hands and using hand sanitiser upon entry and throughout service, please do so every time you re-enter the salon 

• Paper towels should be used and be disposed of in bins provided, immediately after use.  

• Bacterial wipes or hospital grade disinfectant will be used on seats, benches shelves, counters, eftpos machines and registers, or wherever there are areas used by staff or members of the public.

• All client gowns and towels are single use only.

• No magazines will be provided please provide your own.

• Disposable cups are used for refreshments 

• Please maintain a safe distance and avoid close contact.

• If you have recently travelled to a designated hotspot or returned from overseas, please notify the salon and follow the health guidelines that will be provided to you by the appropriate authorities. 

• If you are unwell or show any symptoms of a cold (even minor)please immediately seek medical advice and reschedule appointments. Unfortunately for the well being of our staff and other clients we will not proceed with service if ANY symptoms are shown.

Classy Cuts has an obligation under the relevant Workplace, Health and Safety Act to ensure the safety and well-being of all our employees and we hope that everyone will do their best to cooperate with us and keep our salon virus free.
